I guess to put it simply Maxwell makes me dream. It's rare that an artist has any effect on me, but Maxwel has. He makes me dream of better things and better loves yet to come.

Maxwell appears ro be an easy going person. A big brother type, listen not judge. I think a person is sincere towards him he would be thier friend for life. I personally am a people person so I admire that quality in anyone and everyone.

I put on my headphones and my world begins to change. Softly the music comes to my ears. It's a welcoming and inviting sound. Feelings of love and inclusion come over me. It's like I'm being drawn into a world that is only mine for the taking. Words of love drift over me and nestles in my heart. Images are conjured up and I feel I am one with this artist. He knows how to pull different emotions out of me. The songs are beckening me to either get up and dance, or to mello and listen to the messages. No matter how I am feeling before I began to listen I am changed when I stop. I have been taken to a higher place of deeper understanding, and greater love and acceptance. This was not my original goal but I have forever been changed by this man. You asked what draws me in...well from the moment I heard his velvet voice I was struck with an unfamiliar feeling. This feeling was strange, yet I liked it. This feeling continues and gets stronger everytime I listen to Maxwell. And for as long as the feelings remain I will stay drawn to Maxwell.

Why do I like Maxwell...it is very simple he makes me feel love. He proves that there is a man in my age bracket who loves his black woman and wants a family who he can cherish. The man is truly blessed with a raw talent and one day I hope that I can work with him. In my point of veiw he has brought the melody to true music and that is why I love him so much. And Maxwell if you read this I think that you are a wonderful man and I love your soul very much.

I think Maxwell's music embodies a spiritual and emotional connection to the soul. His lyrics are so beautiful, expressive, and just plain deep. Maxwell is not only a beautiful person on the outside, he is an extremely beautiful person inside. A sensitive and gentle spirit eminates from him.

Why do I love Maxwell? That's simple. I love him because he IS love! He managed to pack every feeling and every emotion that embodies deep and true love and put it into very verse. He's like an angel sent to Earth to jump start our hearts and to make us fall in love all over again. Since the very first time I ever heard that sweet falsetto, I have seen and felt love in a whole new way. And I must say that I am greatful. Maxwell has touched a part of my spirit I never knew existed until now. He has awaked in me a love light once dimmed by the hopelessness of love and romance that plagues our society and instilled in the grand possibility that the love in which he speaks is mine to have if I have faith, patience, and plenty of love to give.

I Love Maxwell because every lyric or every one of his songs speaks truth. I love him because he has inspired me and made me see that it is okay to be me. I love him because he doesn't do what everyone else does. I love him because he is Beautiful both inside and out.

NO MATTER IF YOU'RE FEELING HAPPY, SAD, EXCITED, DEPRESSED, NO MATTER WHAT YOU CAN ALWAYS LISTEN TO HIS SONGS AND FEEL A CERTAIN ENERGY THAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER. HE'S SO UNIQUE AND EVERY SONG HAS THAT MAXWELL FLAVOR. HIS VOICE IS SO HYPNOTIC. HE REALLY DOES HAVE A TALENT AND I HOPE HE NEVER STOPS SINGING AND DENY US OF THAT TALENT. MAXWELL, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Why I LOVE Maxwell, because of his ability to let you actual "see" what he is singing about. I mean, can you have you every tried to "picture" a song. He knows how to deliver the music and lyrics that are soothing, uplifting and sexy!!.

For being and remaining REAL - sincere, poetic, a true musician, appreciative of his fans, and for having the courage to bare his soul to the masses.........

Where do I begin ??? There are so many things to say.........so little time. Maxwell is apparently different from any other music artist. His signature style, his heartfelt outlook on his work, his mission, the complexity of his lyrics, his contribution to the music world and his appreciators. It is obvious that Maxwell is not for everyone, but for those that have a clear understanding of his work, they are truly rewarded with a deepness and intimacy that other artist have yet to offer. For those who criticize his work, they have no understanding of the depth of what Maxwell is all about. It is hard to appreciate something that is not understood. I sincerely hope that he continues to stay true to himself and his music no matter what anyone might have to say about his way of expression. They have yet to mature.......

When I first started to listen to Maxwell's music it was because he sings a lot of slow songs and I love slow jams. As I started listening to his music more, though the way he sang drew me to his music, he sang like everything he said he meant it from the heart. Like it was him talking and not someone else who wrote the song just for him to make money from. When Maxwell sings a song it's like he is showing us a piece of himself and letting us know some of his inner thoughts. To me he does not seem like most singers of today who don't sing because it’s from their heart but for money and a platinum record. He also has an aura about him that draws me to him for some reason. He has sex appeal and he is also very deep. His music does more than make you nod your head it makes you think.

Music has a different meaning for different people. For some it's just a beat to dance to, or something enjoyable to listen to. In my case, music is something that affects me deep inside. I find Maxwell's statement to be so true. He has proven himself to me to be the epitome of humbleness, honesty, spirituality, sensuality and pure talent. His music really reaches into my innerself and makes me examine the experiences I have encountered and also to really search for what I am looking for. So many of today's artists lack class, lack depth, lack originality. Maxwell's music comes from deep within. He's not after the fame, but only to share his God given talent with those of us who will truly appreciate it. I am definitely one of those appreciators. The message he sends out to women is undeniable. How many women would give up everything to find a man like M? I like Maxwell because his music is very original. his style of adding romance and spirituality is a wonderful gift to music. I really like him because finally there is a brother out there who can write music about the appreciation of women; someone who can understand our pain, even though his music can tease you a little bit because you do not find men on an every day basis talking about how much they appreciate women. therefore, I take my hat off to the one who beautifully sings about it all.

Maxwell is a great man. I can say that not because I know him physically but because we share a common thread. He feels pain and I feel pain. He feels love and I feel love. I am a fan of many music genres, however I have noticed that it's hard sometimes to support black male musicians in thick herringbone chains, gold teeth, whose every boast is the amount of "bitches" on their jock and cash in their pocket. So you can imagine how real I feel Maxwell is as an artist and as a person. He is not a black man that has an image to prove like all too many of my black brothers. He seems to genuinely like himself and what he does unquestionably.

The music makes me remember, contemplate, and aspire all at the same time. His style is just that, and most of all it is not trend. His love of women is absolute, and in that is his most admirable quality.

I like him because he sends off a positive vibe, is very eclectic, and also very very handsome.

I adore Maxwell because his approach and style is like no other. I don't know any other song artist/writer who has a way with words such as Maxwell. His music is so profound and it stimulates your thinking. I love the way he often goes from a mellow tone of voice to a very powerful and up lifting tone. I know that he is just like anyone else, but if I seen him in person, I would probably die. I love every single last one of his songs. Maxwell's "fortunate", was the first song I danced off of at my senior prom. I would have been even more "fortunate" if he was there. Maxwell's "Wherever Whenever Whatever" was the first song me and my fiancée every danced to. As you can see, Maxwell has had a deep impact on me. Je adore Tu Maxwell.

I've never experienced a man with so much respect. His respect gave me respect. And hope. His music is beautiful, and from that beauty I've learned to appreciate beauty. He's so positive, honest, realer than an East Coast rapper could keep it, and beautiful. I look to him for inspiration, no earthbound being has ever touched me the way he has. The first time I listened to “Whenever Wherever Whatever” I was immediately exposed to all he is and it touched me in a way I can never explain. Nobody can ever answer your question fully because it's all in the heart and your heart will never tell what it beats for!

I've followed M since his single "Till the Cops Come Knockin" and I truly feel that he has resurrected the love of soul music in all of us. I like Maxwell coz his music is not commercial he isn't in it to make the dollar like he said....its for the sheer love of it all...I admire that in him. I love his songs because they all take a lot to create...with Maxwell there are 101 ways of saying I love you and he makes me feel like wanting to fall in love...he makes me believe in something I don't have.

Well Maxwell is one of those profound souls. He up lifts people in 15 ways, one his looks, two his sly smile, three his music, four his clothes, and you know the rest. For me more than those things. It's like meeting an old friend of yesteryear, like I knew him before. We are having a "reunion"

I think that Max has a beautiful voice. it just surrounds me and takes me to another place. sometimes I feel as if I am in love. he is so humble and modest. he never tries to front. it is just max.

I am searching for words to describe how I feel, but they are not coming quick enough to keep up with the rhythm of what's growing inside. I think the reason why Maxwell is so well liked, and people relate to him on such a personal level is because he is REAL & TRUE. The bro sweats honesty, simply put. The reason that I like Maxwell is because of his music and his views on women. The reason that I like Maxwell's music is because it's something that comes from the heart. I think that a lot of things that he sings about everyone has gone through or is going through at that particular moment in their life. I also like Maxwell's music because it has that soulful meaning to it. Besides the fact that Maxwell is so fine and sexy I like Maxwell because of his views on women.
